Value Added Services
The Employee Assistance Center provides a wide range of services designed to meet the growing needs of American businesses and their employees. We provide services to financial, healthcare, manufacturing and small businesses. We work with each company to design a program that is tailored to the company's individual needs, culture and philosophy.
Here is a summary of the services we offer:
- Assessment and Referral
Our EAP professionals are highly trained, specifically credentialed counselors to provide your employees with a thorough assessment and, if required, appropriate referrals to community resources. - Brief, Solution Focused Counseling
Our counselors work with your employees to get to the heart of the issues and help them begin the healing process. Whenever possible, counseling is completed within the EAP sessions.
- Critical Incident Stress Management
Unfortunately, events may occur that negatively impact your employees and your workplace. While we hope that you never have a need for this service, we provide immediate response to support you and your employees. A fatal accident or other unexpected event can paralyze your work team. We can help. We will implement a comprehensive and immediate response to assist you and your employees to move through the event. - Trainings and Wellness Seminars
Put us to work for you! We offer a wide variety of training topics to meet your company's needs. We also provide quarterly regional training in many subject areas, and we use training evaluation forms to help us assess how we did by your company's standards. - Managed Care and Gatekeeping Services
To help you better manage your benefit costs, we can provide you with gatekeeping services for your employees accessing their behavioral health benefits. - Resource and Referral Services
Our staff can assist you and your employees in finding services that they need outside of the mental health arena. We offer elder care and child care, legal, and financial management referral services. We also maintain a comprehensive list of resources on our website for 24/7 access. - Nationwide Network
We partner with other behavioral healthcare providers across the United States and into Canada to provide the counseling services your employee may need. If an employee is temporarily or permanently located outside of the greater Grand Rapids, MI area, we can refer him/her to a provider in the area that can help. - Newsletters and Other Promotions
We provide you with quarterly Employee newsletters and monthly Supervisory newsletters in either electronic or hard copy. We also provide promotional materials upon initiation of the contract and at other times throughout the year. We are available to participate in benefits fairs and other events at your request. We want to help you promote your EAP to your employees. After all, their utilization of employee assistance services is one of the things that can help keep your healthcare costs down.
